In this competition, only 30 professionals and 27 students across the nation were chosen for this honor!
Celebrated throughout the world, World Day of Design is an international holiday acknowledging the vital role of design in the public arena.
In support of this initiative, AIGA hosted a juried exhibition of posters to acknowledge April 27, 2005 as the first World Day of Design celebration in the United States.
The theme for the exhibition was "diversity," broadly defined as "a point of respect in which things differ." Posters were selected on the basis of concept and design by a panel of design professionals and educators.
The theme of this poster is about diversity of religions.
